After almost a month of delay, the US finally gets its PSN release of Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus! I had already given up waiting last week and gotten the Japanese version for almost double the cost. It was just a few minutes before Yamanaka announced the US release date too! Recently, a user on Dustloop e-mailed ArcSys about the release date of the US PSN version of Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus. They got back to him, and basically confirmed that it has been pushed back to a December release. This is sad news, and I’m not entirely sure what is causing the delay. Now that Guilty Gear XX Accent Core is out on PS3 and XBox360, many new generation fighting game players can have a chance to play this game without the hassle of digging up PS2s and CRTs. Accent Core was made in an era before Street Fighter IV, so it had limited exposure. I finally finished the GG compilation video that I mentioned in my last post. It includes the coolest moments and funniest commentary from all of the arcade GG games, going from GGX all the way to Accent Core. The video is still mostly AC though, since it’s easily the longest lasting Guilty Gear game.
