Happy Holidays! Since the last few news posts have been dedicated to the Xrd location tests, I thought I’d fill you guys in on other GG related things that happened in the meantime. But first, a camera pic of the recent Dengeki magazine reveals that Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax is coming out in March of 2014. But you’ll notice that the bottom left edge of that pic has the Xrd logo, so it looks like we’ll be seeing Xrd in arcades in three months! Chaos Heroes Online is a Korean free-to-play MOBA that got attention […]
The April 2013 issue of Arcadia magazine had a P4U matchup chart created by surveying the various top players of each character in the game. Kurushii was nice enough to provide everyone with a scan of the page in question, and I’ve went ahead and translated the chart here. It’s interesting to see the differing opinions of the various players, like how the Kanji and Elizabeth players both think the matchup is in their respective characters’ favor.
I haven’t written about P4U here since its arcade release, and I randomly got inspired to write about it after having a conversation with some friends about fighting game character archetypes. Elizabeth(the character I play) has some amazing damage potential and pretty decent range on many moves. […]
If you weren’t paying attention to fighting game stuff this weekend, everyone’s favorite troll Kusoru put on an amazing show at Final Round XV! This is the first time Kusoru has been in the United States for a fighting game tournament, and he actually came over for free with an FRB sponsorship(FinalRound Bats, the name of the Marvel 3 qualifying tournament he won in Japan). I was happy to see Final Round XV have a Guilty Gear tournament, but you can bet I was beyond hyped to hear that Kusoru joined it. And he put […]
Ogawa made another appearance on Frieda and Fubarduck’s stream show Amalgame TV yesterday to learn Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3! I wonder if he’s going to become a regular guest from now on. It seems he’s settled on a team of Wesker, Vergil, and Nova. This time, other than training mode, he also plays some netplay matches and a few sets against Frieda’s Zero/Sentinel/Vergil team.
