Woshige has been absent from pretty much all Guilty Gear Xrd -REVELATOR- footage, perhaps because of his work in being the battle director for Street Fighter V. But this week that all changed, because he traveled to the Kanto region and got a bunch of recorded matches in! EVO GGXrd results and more

Another Evolution Championships has come and gone, but this year was very special because Guilty Gear was on the main lineup! The last time GG was a main EVO game was 2009, so this is a momentous return after 6 years and two different iterations. GGXrd 1.10 out on consoles and KSB results

Much to everyone’s surprise, ArcSys announced that Guilty Gear Xrd’s Version 1.10 will be available on the Japanese console versions on 5/8, with the US version following the day after! This is probably the shortest we’ve ever had to wait for a new ASW patch. So we are no longer a version behind Japan. Leo footage and console video roundup

Just a reminder that Leo Whitefang is coming out as a DLC character for the Japanese version of GGXrd on December 18th. Some official footage of him has finally been made available from 4gamer, where Pachi breaks down the character. Famitsu also has some sample combos as well as gameplay footage vs CPU Ky. Another 4gamer article has more details and screenshot on Leo as well as images of two upcoming sets of DLC palettes. It’s been a while since my last update here!  Summer has been quite a bit busier than I expected, but things are finally starting to settle down around here.  It’s gonna get crazy next week though, with the American release of Persona 4 Arena!
