The second location test for Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN- is happening this weekend! I’ll be updating this post periodically as more information becomes available. Since the first test, 4 characters have been added to the roster: Axl, I-No, Faust, and Slayer. There is now more information available on the different roman cancels: Yellow RC costs 25% meter, and is only available for certain moves on whiff. They can only be performed during a move’s active frames. Purple RCs are 50%, and they show up when an RC is attempted on a whiffed move that is not YRCable, or on a move’s recovery frames. Finally, there are the red RCs, which show up when an a non projectile move connects with the opponent. There is also a new system mechanic called Blitz Shield that is pretty much a parry. It costs 25% meter, and is performed by pressing two buttons for the high version, and down + two buttons for the low version.
